Turns out that an angled eyeliner brush works pretty good for detailing! I also finally got the whole toothpick technique down too. Polish used: Base- OPI Sand In My Suit, Half moon- NYC Red, Gold cheetah spots- Confetti- Debutante, Black- NYC Black. Thanks for looking.

Ugh- Urban Decay Primer Potion
I don't own this photo. Photo Credit: www.polyvore.com
I have a bone to pick with this. I recently bought the Naked Palette and a mini version of this came along with it. Today as I was a look for the holiday (Hustle with Kitten as a highlight and Buck in the crease..) I decided to grab this to use as a primer instead of my usual Elf Primer. I applied as much as I usually would and applied my eyeshadow. I found the eyeshadow harder to blend and the Primer creasing. I think maybe I applied too much. I may give it another go with a lighter coat. My eyes were not sensitive to this, which is a plus.
xoxo, Happy Thanksgiving!

Haulin'
Major Haul!
I got a Face Secrets fan brush from Salley Beauty- I rarely see fan brushes and I always look when I'm in any store. I plan on using it for fallout.
I picked up the much raved about Palladio Herbal Primer.
I picked up a large set of the round crystal studs that are by the register. I have the small and medium ones and I love them!
This Silk Elements conditioner is great. I hate ION conditioner and much prefer this one to ION.
I got three nail polishes, Hard Candy Mr. Wrong which I thought was the dupe for Mean Green but the actual dupe is Beetle. Its still a pretty color. I would describe as a silvery purple with gold shimmers. Orly Rage, which is a rosegold color that I have seen Lorraine (The Current Custom) mention. A color by Sally Hansen called Fedora which is the oddest shade I've seen in a while. Its a taup-ey grey. I'm very fair and I thought it would suit me.
I love this Hard Candy Glamoflauge. It comes with a concealer eyeliner style pencil. This covers tattoos better than Dermablend! No lie! And the light color matches my skin better. It remains a little wet and I still have to perfect the application. Anytime I conceal a tattoo I set with baby powder. I have also started using my Bare Minerals Mineral Veil for that purpose as I am not too fond of it as a face powder. It is drying on my combination skin.
I wanted to try the Burt's Bees Radiance Night Creme. It smells like the Radiance Body Lotion which I am not too fond of. The body lotion has a heavy perfum-ey smell which is nice if you like that sort of thing. I don't. I prefer a light scent. I deal with the smell though because the lotion leaves a nice shimmer behind.
Sorry for the low quality cell phone pic. I am saving up for a new camera. Any suggestions?

Haul!
I got Benefit Hoola Bronzer, The NAKED palette, and Benefit High Beam. I also got a sample of The Cool Fix Gel Lotion and a sample of Philosophy's Purity facewash. The day I bought the Naked Palette was the first day that our Sephora got them in! Yay! I grabbed the last one on the shelf and I was so excited because I thought I got the last one but then the sales associate pulled some more out of the drawer.. haha. I am really excited to use the Purity facewash as well. I tried Philosophy's body wash and was NOT a fan because of the sulfates in the bodywash. It just felt cheap to me. I am a huge fan of their perfume though! My favorite is the Pure Grace.

EOS Lipbalm
I am loving this EOS lip balm:
After hearing so many gurus talk about it I finally decided to pick it up, I have been using it for months now and it truly is the only balm that doesn't make my lips peel.
I am also loving the Babyliss Pro Ceramix Xtreme 1inch flat iron. I wanted a flat iron I could curl my hair with and this one is perfect. I picked it up at Marshalls for about $25 and it was too cheap to pass up. I have heard good things about this brands products. I don't think this will replace my old trusty ION flat iron that I have for everyday use though. I like that the ION one has a digital readout so you can tell exactly how hot it is getting.

The sight of all the jalapenos sitting in a basket on the countertop is making me want to make these again: http://mywoodenspoon.com/bacon-wrapped-stuffed-with-cream-cheese-jalapenos/
Last time I made them (okay and second time) I didn't boil them long enough before hand to reduce the hotness of the pepper. They were a big hit despite that! This time I am going to put a bit of pineapple cream cheese in a few of them. Just because I am curious. Also I am going to try and find some very thin- cheap bacon. It wraps better.
Today I am loving this Bolthouse Carrot Juice, it tastes like milk! (Am I weird?)

I did peacock nails today. Not sure if I like them or not. I didn't have the right nail polish. I used Salley Hansen Green Envy, Metro chic, For Audrey, Wet and Wild Navy Blue, and for the base I used Sand In My Suit by OPI.
I redid them using gold for the feathers instead of navy:
I no longer have the job I blogged about earlier but I'm not too worried, I recently finished school and I am studying for my certification test which I'm sure will open some doors.
